Charles “Chip” Stewart, Probate Attorney

Chip is our dedicated Probate Attorney, helping families navigate every step of the estate administration process with experience, knowledge, and empathy. Although he brings a practical and methodical approach to the process, he understands that probate often involves grief and family tensions and approaches every matter with patience, discretion, and commitment.

Prior to joining the Law Office of Lena A. Clark, Chip was a sole practitioner, focusing on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and guardianships. He was also an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Office of Disaster Assistance, helping disaster victims rebuild. In all, he brings over two decades of experience as an attorney.

A Frederick native, Chip enjoys spending time with his family. As an avid foodie, he enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, and he likes to spend time outdoors, especially in the garden.
